Mrs. Effie DUNKIN Dies: services will be on Thursday
Mrs. Efie Pearl DUNKIN 82 a resident of the Bartlesville area since 1915 died at 11:05 p.m. on Saturday in the Heritage Manor after an extended ilness.
Mrs.DUNKIN was born in Salt Lake City Utah, Aug 9 1893 and as a child made her home with her parents in Garland TX, where she was reared and recieved her education prior to the family's move to Ft.Smith Ark. As a young woman, she was married to Mr. Benjamin M. DUNKIN in Ft.smith in Sept 1913. They moved to Bartlesville in 1915 where DUNKIN was employed by the National Zinc Company for a number of years and later inlife became active with the Salvation Army, retiring from activity in 1956.
Mr. DUNKIN died in 1969 and Mrs. DUNKIN has made her home in Bartlesville since that time. She has been in failing helath for the past several years and has made her home in the Heritage Manor for the past five years. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church.
She is survived by one son, C.W.DUNKIN, Port Hueneme Ca, four daughters, Mrs. Mae MINOR, Parsons KS, Mrs. George (Mary) MINOR, Denver Co. Mrs. Bill (Jean) DIVINE, also of Parsons KS and Mrs. Claude (Mildred) SUTHERLAND and 26 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Colonial Chapel of the Neekamp Funeral Home with Brig. John R.Davis, retired Salvation Army officer as the officiant with interment to be in the White Rose Cemetery

Benjamin M. (Monroe) DUNKIN 78 418 Kaw, a longtime resident of Bartlesville, died at 2:10 a.m. sunday in a local hospital after a brief illness
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednessday t the ColonialChapel of the Neekamps Funeral Home with Major John Courtoisofficating assisted by Brig. John R.Davis, both of the SalvationArmy. Interment will be in White Rose Cemetery.Mr. DUNKIN was born in Morrilton Ark on Oct 25 1890, and was rearedin that area. He married Miss Effie WITHROW in Ft. Smith Ark on Sept29, 1913 and they lived there where he was with the Midland Valley Railroad Co., prior to engaging in farming that area.They came to Bartlesville in 1915 and he was with the National Zinc Co. He later became active as a soldier with the Salvatin Army in 1956. He has been in failing health for the past year and became seriously ill three weeks ago. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie DUNKIN of the home, one son, C. W. DUNKIN, Port Hueneme CA, four daughters, Mrs. C. E. MINOR Okay OK., Mrs. George MINOR, Denver Co., Mrs. Claude SUTHERLAND, Bartlesvilleand Mrs. Bill DIVINE, Parsons Ks.
